Raw Local Honey

There are many heath benefits to buying local honey. Many people say the purer the honey, the stronger the medicinal benefits. So often the honey you buy in a grocery stores will be heavily filtered and processed, by contrast ours is always raw.

  • Local honey can help combat seasonal allergies. Local bees gather local pollen, when you eat local honey your body is getting desensitized to these allergens with each spoonful.
  • Raw honey has antiseptic and anti- inflammatory properties.
  • Honey is a natural cough suppressant. Reach for your jar of local honey before running to the store for cough drops!

In addition to the health benefits, local honey also provides environmental benefits. Honey farmers are raising and maintaining a healthy bee population in your neighborhood, which are pollinating the plants, and is beneficial to other local wildlife.

There are many ways to incorporate honey into your daily diet. Add a spoonful to your smoothie, yogurt, or tea in the morning. We love to use honey as a sugar substitute in baked goods! However you choose to enjoy it, you're reaping many benefits from raw local honey!
